Eastertide

Scott of Hybla and I are prone to wordplay. Chatting this morning we came up the concept of

Lowtide
NOUN: The Low season, extending from Easter to Ascension Day, Whitsunday, or Trinity Sunday.
In the Western church, today is known in clergy circles as Low Sunday. Where churches that extrapolate future earnings based on the previous Sunday's offering plate are brought up short.
