More men are promicuous and more risk-taking than women; and gay men more than men in general. The cultural pressure amongst gays to moderate these behaviors is lacking. Is it this sort of socially-destructive, self-absorbed behavior that was the source of the biblical injunctions, not that homosexuality is sinful per se?
